Jadyn and I wanted to capture a raw, street style look with these shots, and I think we succeeded in doing so. Wearing my boyfriend's oversized black jacket and a t shirt with the word model on the front must have helped my grungy ego, as well as being overly satirical.
The locations and light gave us the dark urban feel which I wanted to add to my portfolio. It was also the first shoot which I had done wearing darker makeup, notably the dark nude lipstick. I have fallen in love with cities simply because they have such interesting spaces to explore and enticing moods to capture. Backdrops are so important to any shoot.
